Who we are

This site is operated by Drumcondra Decorators Ltd ("we", "us"), painters & decorators based in Drumcondra, Dublin 9, Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. Questions? Email info@drumcondrapainters.ie or call 087 223 9446.

What we collect

• Quote & contact enquiries — your name, phone number, email and the details of the job you describe (via our forms or WhatsApp).
• Free guide download — your email address, where you ask us to send our guide.
• On-site assistant — the questions you type into our chat assistant, so we can answer them.
• Basic technical data — standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser) kept by our host for security and reliability.

We do not collect special-category data, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

• To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote — on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in answering you.
• To send the guide or updates you asked for — on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw it any time.
• To run and secure the website — on the basis of our legitimate interest.

We never sell your data, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Who processes it on our behalf

We use a small number of trusted service providers ("processors") to run the site and reply to you:

• Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless visitor analytics.
• Resend — delivering form and guide emails.
• Meta (WhatsApp) — if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled under Meta's terms.
• Anthropic — powering our on-site assistant, if enabled.

Each processes data only as needed to provide its service.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your job and for a reasonable period after, then delete them. Marketing email consents are kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We use Vercel's privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits and measure performance — it doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't identify you. If we ever add cookie-based analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), we'll ask for your consent first with a banner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to: access your data; correct it; erase it; restrict or object to its use; or receive a copy (portability). You can also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@drumcondrapainters.ie.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
